OLIVIA CONWAY
Designer
Olivia graduated with a First Class (Honours) in Textile Design with a specialist focus in luxury embroidery for lingerie. She is incredibly passionate about sustainability, textile manipulation and technology, and showcased her graduate collection at the Business Design Centre in London where her work was recognised and commended by the Embroiderers Guild, as well as The Knitting and Stitching Show in Harrogate. With previous experience working for luxury lingerie company Bordelle, Olivia has great awareness of the luxury industry.
Olivia is now a designer working with Concepts Paris, applying her specialist textile and surface pattern knowledge to the tactile and creative context of the Concepts Paris trend books, reports and client projects.
"I've always been fascinated by the power of lingerie: its rich history, the sentimental element, and the vital role it plays in a woman’s relationship with their body. I revel in trying to push the parameters of tradition within my designs, playing around with new and exciting concepts everyday and creating collections that not only try to capture the zeitgeist but inspire progression and exhilaration within the market too."
