Blue was an important colour in our S/S 2009 forecast. We moved away from the traditional Deauville and preppy blue of previous seasons into more dramatic, nature inspired directions and in our Rock Chic trend we took a first glance at cobalt.
Then we followed this up in our A/W 2009-10 season trend books with emerald green combined with blue, introducing the eccentric spell that is moving through the whole fashion industry. We feel very strongly for this touch of eccentricity and we see that blue has already started to play a major role in general colour developments.
In the pages of this ‘Blue Report’ we follow its evolution in the world of design in general. Look at all the fantastic stories that you can create with blue: we believe that it’s worth a try. Yes there are some hesitations in the lingerie world but you can’t deny the move towards blue.
